I know. I know.
This is probably the Nth time I am going to reconstruct, revise, redesign, redo this blog and rethink if I want to continue blogging again.
I have no alibi. And I wasn't in hibernation mode either. I just lost the passion in blogging.
Probably, I reached the point when I feel that I don't want to do anything at all. Or maybe, I'm getting old.
It's a phase. It's not contagious (I hope). Though I think it's a disease that women my age are prone to acquire at some point in their lives.
So yes, here I am easing slowly back into blogging again. And just like before, I need to start afresh. I need new layout design to fit my new found enthusiasm for blogging. And hey, having done this multiple times... I guess I'm getting good at it.
"Getting good at fixing what is not broken.".
Anyway, there are a few things that will surely be significant with this "not-so-new-blog" of mine. If some of you remember (I was hoping that I still have some of you - my loyal blog followers) I own about 7 blogs in total. Well, that is no longer true. I have lost 5 of them and now down to 2.
That is mainly the reason why I stopped blogging. I was overwhelmed by them. With 2 jobs and working 12 hours a day, time is my enemy.
This is the new old layout of The Carpenter's Wife's Tool Box |
So now that I only have 2 blogs left, I am hoping that I will be able to maintain a good amount of blogging time and regain the momentum that I used to have when I started blogging 9 years ago.
And yes, my other blog will undergo a major facelift too soon.
This change will not be instant, I promise you. I have to come up with a plan to do this. And as of this writing, I don't have one. But I will get there.
Changing the layout is the start. I can see that in the next few days it will get where I want it to be. I am so excited to get back on writing and blogging again. And I am hoping that someday I will also find the time to finally publish a book that I have been dreaming of.

This design is spectacular! You obviously know how to keep a reader amused.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost...HaHa!) Fantastic job.
I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
Too cool!
Thank you for some other informative site. Where else may just I get that type of information written in such an ideal way?
I have a undertaking that I am just now working on,
and I have been on the look out for such info.
I think everything said made a great deal of
sense. However, consider this, what if you added
a little content? I ain't suggesting your content is not solid, however suppose you added a title to possibly get folk's attention? I mean "Blog Rebump, the Nth time around"
is kinda boring. You could look at Yahoo's front page and note how they create post
titles to grab people to open the links.
You might try adding a video or a pic or two to grab people excited
about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it could
bring your website a little livelier.
