@Len... try to google "gold panning in the UK" maybe you can find some river near your place. Hubby just did a lot of research on gold panning online before we went and still doing it to update and get tips... and check on some equipments he needs.

@Lam... yup. right now the price per ounce is $1200.
oh, Ruthi, aside from having peacefulness in the woods, you can have $1200, did you get an ounce? Oh, what fun!
I love camping and the out-of-doors, a few gold nuggets would be a added bonus.
