Pumpkin season is here again. I love this season because everything burst in color. I find it very magical. My “pumpkin culture shock”, on the other hand, is the only thing here in Maine I didn't find hard to deal with. I got used to it as quickly as I finished a whole pumpkin pie the first time I was offered with one. It’s something different. We don’t have pumpkin pie in the Philippines. It was the first time I ever tasted it and I fell instantly in love with it too.
And since pumpkins in all sizes and shapes are all over the place I know that Brandon is so excited as early as now and can’t wait for the upcoming and most important event in his life – Halloween. Brandon was walking around with a huge and heavy painted pumpkin around the house the other day that his Nana gave him and as expected, he talks nothing but Halloween and that will be that way, till it’s over.
